Bloodwork, ultrasound and pap all done in one small office. I love that kind of service. The location on 57th is convenient to the subway right downstairs. Bedside manner was terrific. I saw 4 different people (MD, PA, nurse). One for my pap, one for my ultrasound one for my bloodwork and the doctor followed up with me after reviewing the information. I had to make a follow up call a month later regarding bloodwork being forwarded to another doctor and they went above and beyond to make certain I knew how to access my labs online to print and they took the doctor's fax just in case I had trouble printing. The doctor also gave me a rx and referral to made certain was informed about and went to receive the proper shots for travel outside the US after my appt. I was able to fill several pages of new patient paperwork online before I arrived and they had it printed and ready for me to sign when I arrived. The office and rooms are tiny not a minus though. I arrived on time and was the 2nd person seated in the waiting area -- yet I still had a wait of an hour 10 minutes as 4 women came in after me and were seen first but I left very pleased. With exception to the wait time they were quite thorough, they listened and communicated well and they were efficient.

After so long waiting time (about 1 hr in a waiting room after appointment time and about 30 minutes in an exam room - I've almost fell asleep there!) in a crowded stuffy office I thought I'll never ever return to this place. But Dr. Jane Kaufman was so pleasant and patient with me, answered all my questions, that I felt like I'm the only one her patient for a day. Maybe next time office won't be so crowded?

This was the worst experience of my life. It literally did me physical harm. Their bedside manner is lovely, until I was crying and screaming in pain on their table, begging them to stop a procedure and they refused. Now I've had to see 3 other doctors to try to address the damage they caused to my cervix. Plus their receptionist is terrible. The space is incredibly public, too; they've literally converted closets into rooms, which wouldn't be so bad in Manhattan if they weren't flimsy and afforded ANY privacy.

Would NEVER come here again. I had an appointment and showed up right on time. There were more than 8 people in their TINY waiting room and I was overcome with dread. The office assistant told me that there was an hour wait, even for people with appointments that showed up on time. (3:45 on a Thursday)
The office is run extremely poorly and clearly they have no regard for appointment scheduling so I felt compelled to share.
The doctor's bedside manner was also lacking in sincerity and concern. When you go to a GYN, it's not the most relaxing place in the world and she did not make it any more pleasant.

This has been the worst doctor experience of my entire life (and includes emergency room visits waiting upwards of 3 hours).
Booking an appointment was very easy and now I understand why. They take everyone with no regard for how long a visit takes. So if you have an appointment or walk in be prepared for a very long wait.
The reception is so disorganized. I had an issue with a medication so was calling the doctor to inquire and for two days did not receive a call back. Apparently they got test results back the day prior and not only failed to tell me but also failed to tell me I had an abnormal finding. No, please, take your time...
Upon going back they were supposed to electronically send my prescriptions to the pharmacy. Time really is of the essence with these people - the pharmacist had no record of the prescriptions where I had to go through this madness again only to acquire paper scripts to get the job done myself.
Stay far away from this practice. You are better off going ANYWHERE.

I have never waited longer to see a doctor. Truly unbelievable. When I asked the receptionist how much longer (after an hour) she said she had no way of knowing because she didn't know what people were there for or how long their appointments would take. What's the point of even booking appointments? I would never go back here, unless I have a whole day that I want to spend sitting in their tiny waiting room listening to blasting music. The nurse practitioner was very nice, but it's ridiculous to take 2 hours to get a Pap smear.

Dr. Kaufman is very nice and efficient. I would definitely recommend her.
However, I would have a hard time recommending the practice as a whole. I waited an hour and a half to see her for a regular gyno/check-up.

I won't be coming here again. I needed to get in quickly before the end of the insurance year. I was not seen by the doctor but rather by a physician's assistant. She was pleasant but I don't pay tons of money to not be seen by a doctor. And there was no previous indication that I would not be seen by a doctor. Also as others have mentioned the wait time is far too long I had a 4:40 appointment and was not seen until after 5:30 PM. I suppose I was lucky as others in the room complained of waits longer than an hour. The office is small and unwelcoming.

Since I found Dr. Kaufman's office, I have loved going to see her. She is kind, well spoken, understanding, and patient with your concerns. The office is small so there is sometimes a wait, but it's well worth it for the treatment you receive. I've been seeing her for a few months now, and I've always left happy and never had a complaint. The receptionist is warm and welcoming, and the office is clean and always nice to wait in. Absolutely no complaints!

First off the Staff and Doctor WAS GREAT!!! They work in the smallest office in the world. I felt like we were in a 3rd world country! And I did not see dr. Jane Kaufman! I saw a wonderful PA! She was very pleasant and attentive.. I feel for the staff and patients! They really need to up the environment... ;(
P.s shockingly the wait was not long which was surprising because of allllll the walk- ins ;(

scheduling and managing appointments times is basic professionalism. this office is a ridiculous waste of time. if you're running 2 hrs late call your patients and give them a heads up, so they aren't sitting in your office or they can reschedule for another time.

Dr. Kaufman is personable, listens well, and responds to comment and complaints. I would not hesitate to see her again. She was able to answer my questions fully.
The exam rooms is unusually small. With a 3 pm scheduled appointment, I did some paperwork, but was not seen until after 4 pm. There were some air freshener sticks in the waiting area for which the fragrance remained on my clothing when I went home.

Dr. Kauffman made me feel extremely comfortable and she patiently answered all my questions . The wait time was about 45 minutes before I was seen but overall the experience was great . Will definitely see her in future for all my Gyn needs and would readily recommend her to my friends.

The office was not what I expected, it's a walk in clinic, but the doctor was superb. Very easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and calming. If something were wrong with me, she's the one I would want to inform and treat me.

Dr Kaufman is heaven-sent. For an appointment that can be intimidating and quite uncomfortable, she is composed, knowledgeable, and her bedside manners are superb. I could not recommend her more highly.

Everything was fine but unfortunately this office does not do deliveries/births. I called beforehand and said I was pregnant but was not warned. So make sure you call and ask whatever you need whether they offer it.

FINALLY A DECENT GYNOCOLOGIST! Beyond decent, actually, she was wonderful. I am so, so glad I found this place. The doctor was super nice, funny, and most importantly, gentle. I love the portal system and also the lay out inside is so clean and chic. Already recommended them to three people, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
