She completed her residency training at Jefferson University Hospital and a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Brown Medical School. She is a Fellow of American College of Endocrinology and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Sydney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. She joined the faculty at Einstein in 2008. Dr. Mayrin was named one of "Top Doctors in Philadelphia" by Philadelphia Magazine. She has a special interest in the areas of Type 2 Diabetes, thyroid cancer and the management of the pregnant thyroid patient.
