Janeen moved to Clearwater, Florida with her family,
when she was very young. Growing up, she enjoyed
competitive swimming and recreational activities
on Lake Tarpon. When she completed high school,
she attended the University of Florida, where she
received a B.S. in Chemistry and later, her M.D.degree. She completed her residency at Bayfront Health in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she served as administrative chief in her final year of residency.
Janeen enjoys reading and loves her book club. She also likes biking and enjoys exploring the Tampa area in the company of her husband and daughter.

Doctor Alidina took the time to answer my questions, which was very good.
The nurse who takes the vitals before meeting with the doctor wasn't very friendly and made me feel uncomfortable, like she was doing me a favor for getting her job done... Other than that, everything else went well.

My appointment was very early in the morning so that my toddler and I could make it back home at a reasonable time to eat breakfast and get on with our day. After a medical assistant took my vitals, I was ushered into a room to wait for the doctor. After more than an hour a different medical assistant came to tell me that I had been placed in the wrong room and I had to grab my things and take a long walk to the opposite side of the practice. Again, I waited in the new room for nearly more than an hour. I started to pack up my things to leave when Dr. Alidina finally came in. I immediately asked her why the long wait and apparently there was an elderly patient before me who took up more time than usual. She also said that she was working with an assistant who she normally doesn't work with and that this assistant didn't know her usual work flow. Whatever the case, this was a huge inconvenience and I hesitate to visit again.

Dr. Alidina and the Woman's Group was a welcome change from the previous group I went. The office near USF was a comforting location for my visit. There is plenty of privacy from one location to the next. Dr. Alidina answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend Dr. Alidina and the Woman's Group to anyone looking for a new GYN physician.
