I love love love Dr. Mahan! As a black man I personally prefer an African American physician because in my opinion from a cultural perspective they better understand and are better equipped to treat issues that effect us as people of color. As a Registered Nurse myself, I can attest to her bedside manner and compassionate yet direct approach. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Mahan was tremendously thorough and generous with her time. I felt cared for as a patient. It was my first time seeing her. She asked many questions and allowed me to provide as much information as I saw fit. This helped me to gain her trust pretty quickly. She identified a possible cause of an issue that has lingered for some time and referred me to the appropriate specialists. Overall, I had a terrific experience with Dr. Mahan and plan on seeing her again.
