Please note: existing patient visits are shorter than the time required to assess new patients. Any new patients that book their appointment in an existing patient time slot will probably need to be rescheduled. Selecting the appropriate time allows our staff to provide the attention needed for the highest level of service. Controlled substances are typically not prescribed during new patient visits. Dr. Kohler completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at Michigan State University, where she also received her medical training through the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her medical training at Ingham Regional Medical Center, in Lansing, and served as Chief Resident during her Family Medicine Residency. Dr. Kohler is Board Certified in Family Medicine and OMT (Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment). She is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, American Medical Association, Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians, Michigan Osteopathic Association, Ingham Osteopathic Association, and serves as faculty at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine through the Department of Family and Community Medicine. Dr. Kohler resides locally with her husband and son. Her interests outside of medicine include running, cycling, swimming, volleyball, and equestrian sports.
