This was my first appointment with Dr. Estrada and he appears to be thorough, thoughtful and professional. He didn't seem to be in a rush to get through his questions, my answers and/or questions I had for him for which I was grateful.
I'm a senior in my early 70's with several Rx's that I've been wondering if I even needed. He was comfortable going through the list and made some changes - and, after he's been able to review the lab work he ordered, he said he might change things up a bit more.
I was NOT, however, impressed with the Lab! Oh, my gosh ... WHAT A CLUSTER of mismanagement, grueling long wait times and understaffing! Compare PacMed to The Everett Clinic's lab - it's like night and day! There must be a better way in which to manage the lab traffic. Everyone in line was irritated, angry and exceedingly unhappy. The staff was feeling the same way and voiced their frustration. It was awful and I most definitely do NOT look forward to another visit (And it's not just me. A friend of mine goes to PacMed and she warned me to take a book because, as she said, 'No matter what time you show up, there's a wait - it's just a matter of whether it's 15-20 minutes because you're first in line, or over two hours if you happen to be around the 10th to 15th in line. If you're more than 15th in line on the sign-up sheet, just leave and go back another day.")
