Dr. Jared Eaves was born and raised in Brownsville, TX. His interest in medicine started at a very young age, mostly influenced by his curiosity about science and his grandmother’s battle with colon cancer. After high school, he attended The University of Texas at Austin, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the McCombs School of Business. Thereafter, he moved back home and received his MD at the UT Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine. He then moved to Dallas for residency at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, where he was the chief administrative resident in his last year. Dr. Eaves learned from the providers at Stella Mattina Women’s Specialty Center in residency and decided to join the group himself after finishing training. Outside of work, Dr. Eaves enjoys cooking and traveling with his fiancé, Alex.

I was traumatized after my first OB appointment at another place, so I decided to find someone new and came across Dr. Eaves on Zocdoc with all great reviews — and now I see why! He’s so kind, understanding, and really listens. I told him my worries. He sent me nausea meds right away, ordered labs to check my thyroid without me even having to ask which was much appreciated, and scheduled my anatomy scan in-office so I could cancel the other one. The staff was just as amazing — super friendly, patient, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I left feeling cared for, respected, and relieved. So glad I found Dr. Eaves and the team at Stella Mattina!

Dr. Eaves is great! He listened and showed real concern! I went to other Obgyn’s prior to seeing him about the same issue and they didn’t help with anything, they didn’t listen, they made me feel like they wasn’t trying to help, and, or make me feel as if they were trying resolve the issue! With Dr. Eaves he got straight to it and offered different options to help. In my opinion, so far he’s definitely one of the good ones and this experience was from my first visit with him!

Dr. Eaves made me feel comfortable and willing to respond to medical questions without any judgement. All my concerns were addressed in a timely manner and very thoroughly. Appropriate referrals were made and the office staff from front to the back were all a delight during our interactions. I am glad I found the clinic and plan to continue with Dr. Eaves for my gyn care which speaks volumes!!

Dr Eaves is a very knowledgeable Obgyn that happens to be male. Regardless I still felt seen, understood, and supported by Dr Eaves. He answered every question or concern I had, and even had many more options of contraception that wasn’t once available to me. Very great doctor. Will be using in the future

This place was amazing my Dr Jared was the best this was actually the first male doctor that I've ever experienced and he made me feel genuinely comfortable he was genuine about everything he listened to me he gave me options this was the best doctor visit that I can say that I've ever had I would definitely recommend him and he was just attentive he checked everything that needed to be checked he was empathetic and just his vibe was just everything and I really appreciate him I don't see myself going anywhere else

My experience was amazing. I didn’t wait long. My ultra sound was nice and easy. Dr.Eaves took time to explain everything thoroughly due to me being high risk and made sure I understood everything he needs me to do which showed me he cared. I would say my experience was a 10/10. I made the right choice !
