I specialize in treating an adult and young adult population, with extensive experience evaluating and managing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and ADHD, as well as working with more diffuse issues around identity, interpersonal relationships, and professional achievement.
I provide psychotherapy as well as medication management. Through my evaluation I will work with you to determine whether pharmacologic treatment, therapy or a combination of both would be helpful for you. I am happy to work with patients who are reluctant to take medications and it appears that pharmacologic treatment could be of some benefit but is not absolutely necessary. I employ a psychodynamic approach to therapy, though will utilize more directive, CBT techniques where appropriate.
