Dr. Smith received his bachelor’s degree from Weber State University in his home town of Ogden, Utah. He then graduated from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University in 2008.
His postgraduate training consisted of three years at the Franciscan Foot and Ankle Institute in the South Puget Sound area where his focus was reconstructive foot and ankle surgery including trauma, revision surgery, and complex deformity correction. Dr. Smith has completed advanced training in limb lengthening and deformity reconstruction at the Istituto Clinico Humanitas, Milan, Italy with Alexander Kirenko, MD.
Dr. Smith joined Ankle & Foot Clinic of Everett in July 2011. Ankle & Foot Clinic of Everett has been there for its' patients in the Puget Sound area since 1989 and is a top referral location for difficult foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Smith spends his personal time with his wife Annie (just married in October 2011). They enjoy the outdoors, live music, the culinary arts, and most of all, each others company.
