Dr Helliwell originally trained in Ob/Gyn but then did extensive, rigorous training in cosmetic surgery over a 6 year period after residency. Dr Helliwell went to UC-San Diego for as BS degree in biochemistry, and attended UC-San Diego for medical school. His residency training was at cedar-Sinai Medical center and harbor UCLA.
During this time he trained to do commonly requested cosmetic surgical procedures such as breast augmentation, breast lift, liposuction, tummy tuck, Vaginal aesthetic surgery ( vaginal rejuvenation surgery and labia plasty).
Dr Helliwell also studied under leaders in the cosmetic medical field for non-surgical aesthetic procedures such as Botox, Xeomen, dermal fillers, anti-aging facial injections, lasers, skin tightening procedures, and chemical peels.
He received an award for "excellence in cosmetic surgery education" from American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in 2010. Dr Helliwell achieved diplomat status by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery in breast, body, and extremities in 2012.
Dr Helliwell has taken leadership roles in the field of cosmetic surgery as well.
In 2014 he served on the membership committee of the California a Academy of Cosmetic Surgery ( CACS) and in 2015 became a board of trustee for CACS.
Dr. Helliwell is passionate about the field of cosmetic surgery and enjoys helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals. Patients often tell him they love their results and feel more confident after their procedure.

I can't say that i cared for him. I don't know if he gets any procedures done but it felt half what cold during that consultation. So if Doctor personality doesn't matter to you, then you have found your guy.
