Dr Leonard is always very personable, but not always informative. Also a new policy put into practice, that if you have prescriptions that need or eau theorization, you must be seen in the office again, even though you were just there for an appt. Less than a week ago.ridiculous! This also causes a delay in getting the needed meds, because you have to wait until the next available appt to get back in to see the doctor. My family and I are tired of the run around, we will be finding a new family practice.

I have been seeing him for several years now and have always loved his bed side manner. He is also one of the very few physicians that have ever actually listened to me and took interest in me as a person, not just dollar signs. The entire staff has always been this way with me. I love the entire group.

Dr. Jason Leonard received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. He completed his medical degree, with honors, from the University of Louisville. Dr. Leonard performed his residency at McLeod Family Medicine in Florence, South Carolina. He is board-certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Leonard appreciates the continuity of care afforded by Family Medicine, where he has the chance to make a positive difference throughout his patients’ lives. At CFP, he likes having the ability to see patients the same day and offer a wide spectrum of lab and diagnostic services in-house.
Dr. Leonard volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and has traveled for medical mission trips to Honduras and Jamaica. When he is not working, he enjoys playing tennis, including being part of the 2010 South Carolina State Champion Team Men’s Doubles. He was born and raised in Cincinnati but has lived happily in Sumter since relocating in 2007.

I was not allowed to see Dr. Leonard today because I was unable to pay the amount demanded by the Accounts Manager, despite me paying the agreed upon amount per my signed installment agreement. Personally, I love Dr. Leonard. This is the second time I have encountered this problem. The first was simply because the office had not posted my payment yet.

Great as always. However, the front desk at Colonial check in, really needs better customer service training. I checked in 15 mins prior to my appointment and sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes before I was ever asked if I had been helped. It appears they were way behind on checking patients in that day.

Dr. Leonard is great as are the technicians and nurses. Some of the administrative staff aren't very good at what they do. Person putting in the blood work requested by the Dr. was slow and inept. This was the same person that didn't get the Dr.'s request right on the prescription so he had to re-do them, requiring him more work and a delay to me. Not appreciated by either of us!

Dr Leonard is A very caring Dr and always makes sure that I understand everything before our visit is over. He always has my test results avalible and he makes sure that if I need test or referrals they are done on same day visits. I have never had a family Dr like Jason Leonard I reccomend him to everyone I know. I am very happy with Jason and could not imagine seeing anyone else ....

Love Dr.Leonard. He doesn't mask a peoblem. I feel he truly does his best to get a permanent fix to my problems. Yes sometimes "I" get frustrated at myself for my issues & will overlook them as long as I can, but Dr.Leonard is always ready to tachkle what I throw at him. Also few doctors have ever made my daughter comfortable & he managed from day one about 10yrs ago to win her over! That means a lot! Thanks Dr.Leonard for all you have done for my Family!
