No wait time. Office staff is very nice. Dr Spector was nice, thorough and seemed very knowledgeable. Recommended I get a certain brand of shoe for my foot problems. I would gladly return to see him in the future.

Dr. Spector has been practicing in the greater Atlanta area since 1994. He specializes in surgery and sports medicine. Since childhood he has been interested in training standard bred racehorses, which relies heavily on gait analysis. Pursuing Podiatric Medicine allows him to put that knowledge to use with people in his chosen profession. He was the consulting podiatrist for the Kennesaw State University athletic teams and lectured for the Georgia Games.
Dr Spector is a Marathon Runner and does Cross Fit training. He is an RRCA Certified Running Coach and is the Director of the Atlanta Running Institute. A native of New York City, Dr. Spector earned a BA in Economics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. His medical degree came from The New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical training in Atlanta with the Georgia Podiatric Surgical Residency program in 1994. Dr. Spector is married, and has two children. He is a member of Chabad of North Fulton and is a board member of his neighborhood HOA. Dr Spector started Atlanta Sports Podiatry to specialize in treating athletic injuries. Offices are in Johns Creek and Buford, GA.

I thought this was a good visit. Jay listened well, and explained everything he was doing as the exam ran its course. I found it really helpful that he could communicate as a "jock", that also happens to be a doctor. He was able to describe the problem, and the treatment regimen going forward, in terms that made sense to me. I'll be back when I injure something else.

Dr. was prompt and professional. I had an ingrown toe nail but he said Medicare doesnt cover a proceedure to remove it so I only had a nail trimming.

Dr. Spector was very friendly and did a great job of explaining my diagnosis. He endured that I understood my options for treatment, and explained the pros and cons of both.
The only con was the assistant who was not knowledgeable about whether something would be covered by my insurance.
Other than that it was an amazing visit. Check in process was smooth, X-rays were easy and friendly, and check-out was great too!
