Dr. Yasen was very professional during our visit, easy to talk to, explains medical information in an easy to absorb manner, listens intently, and allows time to ask however many questions I needed. He was kind, assuaged any concerns or anxieties I had about my health/medical history, and provided a concrete follow-up plan. He is also quick to follow-up with imaging/test results the day after I had them done at MSR. 100/100 would recommend Dr. Yasen to family and friends.

Dr. Yasen is very thorough in history review and physical exam. He has the best bedside manner and he treats me with respect. He is very professional. He explains my medical condition very well and discuss the treatment plan with me thoroughly.

Jay E. Yasen, MD, is a neurologist specializing in vascular neurology and neurocritical care and an assistant professor of clinical neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Yasen earned his Doctor of Medicine from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, where he was awarded for outstanding teaching of medical students and inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society. He completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in neurology at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Yasen also completed a fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center. He is board certified in neurology and vascular neurology and certified in neurocritical care. Dr. Yasen has presented his research at medical conferences and committee meetings and has published case studies. He was selected as one of New York Magazine and Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Heart Association Stroke Council, and the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society.
