Overall, the doctor was great. The staff however, incorrectly labeled me as "self-pay" and I ended up having to pay ALOTTTTT out of pocket as they refused to help locate my insurance. Highway robbery!! Please be careful.

Dr. Bukkapatnam is a graduate of Duke University in Durham, N.C., where she received a B.S. in biology. After receiving her medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Orlando Health/Winnie Palmer Hospital.
She was named assistant director of medical education OB-GYN at the Winner Palmer Hospital in Orlando in 2010 where she was responsible for staffing inpatient labor and delivery, gynecology and triage as well as the outpatient gynecology clinic. While there, Dr. Bukkapatnam also taught and managed residents and medical students. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She joined Atlanta Obstetrics and Gynecology in April of 2015.

Dr. Bukkapatnam was efficient and friendly- taking time to talk with me and get to know me, but still was very respectful of my time. Unfortunately this office does not honor the paperwork that's pre-filled out on ZocDoc, even with me trying to confirm it with their receptionists, make sure if you're a new patient to give yourself about 10-15 minutes before your appointment to fill out everyting!

I was so so so impressed with Dr. Bukkapatnam. I have never had a pleasant experience during an annual check up but that all changed after my appointment. She has great bedside manner and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed my experience! Everyone was so welcoming and polite. The only reason I had to wait was because I had to fill out specific forms but as soon as I was done I was seen right away!

Everyone was very inviting. Office was pretty easy to find. Wait time was good, my appt was at 1:45PM, I was called back at 1:51PM. I would recommend getting there 30 min early to finish all your paper work. Dr. B was very patient and informative in answering all the questions that I had.

Lovely staff, everyone was so helpful and attentive. Dr. Bukkapatanam went over all information and was able to answer all of my questions thoroughly. She went into detail explaining anything I may have not understood. She was prepared and I'm glad to have found her. All ZocDoc information will need to be printed and handed in. If not you will need to fill out all new client forms. That's why I wasn't seen right away.

I had an overall excellent experience with Dr. Bukkapatnam and with her office. Initially I was nervous due to personal factors and experiences. However, everything from signing in, the nurse who took my vitals, the doctor, and my phlebotomist were friendly and professional. I felt safe and comfortable which unfortunately is new for me! I felt like Dr. Bukkapatnam took time to talk me through my options and the concerns I had. I would recommend her to anyone and will continue to see her for my annual. Also huge recommendation to my phelbotomist. My veins are hard to find but she found it the first time and didn't do weird things like rotate the needle inside my arm or pressed down hard on the needle while it was in my arm. I don't want to get my blood drawn anywhere else!

Dr Bukkapatnam was amazing!! Literally the best gyno I have ever been to! Genuinely nice and thorough! Really took time to go over everything and made sure to ask if I had any questions every so often; To which she patiently answered! She also made sure I was comfortable during the not so comfortable part. She gets my highest recommendation possible !

I am very impressed by the competence of the staff and quality of the facilities, as well as my visit with Dr. Bukkapatnam. Helena (Nurse) made me feel at ease with her professionalism. As this was my first appointment, Dr. Bukkapatnam took the time to talk with me about my medical history and she made me feel completely at ease in discussing it, more so than any Dr. I've had in the past. As a late 30 yr old who hasn't had an annual physical in awhile I was nervous but Dr. Bukkapatnam put me at ease with her competence, professionality and understanding. The best GYN I've seen in my life(I'm 38). I will be back.
