Jeevana Krishna, M.D. studied medicine at Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India, completing her internship at Osmania General Hospital in 1982 and her pathology residency in 1984. Dr. Krishna moved to Atlanta, became a Research Fellow at Morehouse School of Medicine in the Department of Pathology and published several articles in the Journal of the National Medical Association.
Dr. Krishna completed her Family Practice Residency in 1991, making rotations at Southwest Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital, and was awarded the Excellence in Medical Research award from Morehouse School of Medicine, Department of Family Practice. She was the only Morehouse Family Practice resident inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, of which she is a lifetime member.
Dr. Krishna won the First Place Award in the Family Medical Research Competition at the National Medical Association’s Annual Meeting in 1990. Dr. Krishna has been Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine since 1991, and has been the proprietor of Cumming Family Medicine since 1998. Doctor Krishna also practices alternative medicine, Yoga and is a Certified Pranic Healer. Dr. Krishna primarily sees patients at Cumming Family Medicine’s main location at 765 Lanier 400 Parkway in Cumming.

My appointment didn’t even happen. I showed up and they had no idea I had even booked an appointment and considered me a walk in. I wasn’t seen by the doctor.

I made an appointment with them. I had to call when my appointment time came, and they said that the person I made the appointment with was out of the country. So she made me appointment with another provider. She told me they would call me back the same day. Here we are, two days later and I haven’t heard anything. ?

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone , it seems like this doctor's office has no problem taking your money and then not following through with treatment. I have sciatica with excruciating lower back pain as well, It seems like they're answer for everything is a cortisone shotWhich she has given me to this month come to find out too much cortisone is extremely harmful to the body. She refused to follow through with any other treatment which is totally unacceptable for a health care practitioner that we as patients confide in..... Not to mention her bedside manners were horrible and very dismissive!
