He also has specialized experience with complicated surgical reconstructions for patients with rheumatoid arthritis, quadriplegia and spasticity following stroke or brain trauma. In many difficult cases, he has enhanced patient’s quality of life and independence by restoring function to their hand, wrist elbow, and shoulder Dr. Budoff’s focus is on restoring function and eliminating pain with the newest, least invasive, most up-to-date methods possible. He is often referred complicated upper extremity cases from other orthopaedic surgeons. Dr. Budoff does all of his own surgeries. His one-incision endoscopic carpal tunnel release is the least invasive technique currently available. Independent research has confirmed that the one-incision endoscopic carpal tunnel release gets most people back to work (and other worthwhile activities) quicker than open carpal tunnel release or the two-incision endoscopic carpal tunnel release that many surgeons advertise. Dr. Budoff currently sees patients in the Texas Medical Center and has satellite offices in Cyfair, Pearland and Katy, Texas. He is affiliated with University General Hospital, The Methodist Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital, and Foundation Surgical Centers.

I drove almost an hour to get there, waited and waited and finally was told that I didn't have an appointment...even though I had your confirmation. The lady at the front desk told me NEVER to book online because it wasnever done correctly. She told me to call the office direct and book another appointment. When I asked for a card, she acted very irritated about it. Not professional...I would go to another Dr. but Dr. Budoff was highly recommended to me so I will give it another try but I'm going to make sure he knows what happened.

The office staff is very nice, friendly, and efficient. The office itself is also very nice! Dr. Budoff is very professional, personable, and made sure I understood what was going on with my hands. I enjoyed his sense of humor! Hegave me cortisone shots in both hands, and it was fast and practically pain free! Will definitely go back if and when I need to.

The office staff was awesome. That is important since they are the first line of contact. I could tell Dr. Budoff read over my medical info before entering my room. I look for that in a doctor. Very good manners anddiscussion was to my understanding. Sent me for X-rays and received the results in the same visit which allowed him to start a plan of action to assist with my pain.

What more could you ask for? It was very easy to get an appointment and I didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen, so props to the friendly office staff! Dr. Budoff's credentials, professionalism and knowledge areall very impressive. I went in for a second opinion and have scheduled surgery within 2 weeks of my initial appointment. Even though the surgery is at a private surgical center, the overall price was actually a tad less than the first surgeon I had seen.

I scheduled my appointment 7 days out, and the day before my appt. I was called by his nurse to tell me that they don't see patients in the med center on that day. I had already taken off work forthis appt., as had my sister to accompany me. They offered to reschedule for the same day, but I had to go to Katy instead. I also received a ZocDoc email confirmation the day before for my now non-existent appointment at the med center. After reading rave reviews on Dr. Budoff on Angie's List, I was excited and looking forward to my appointment and getting some answers. However, I was VERY disappointed in the treatment I received. My sister (who is a retired physician) and I both felt he was rude.

I feel confident that he will be able to help me regain function of my right arm. He was empathetic to my situation and I appreciate that. Some people can be so judgmental and make assumptions that you just want offwork or just want pain medications, not understanding that all you want is to be whole again. I have Hope again that my life will return to normal again. Thanks

It wasn't just me he noticed his terrible bed side manner but also my friend who took me to have my surgery done. He also did not spend much time following up with me and was unconcerned and cold about issues that I had after surgery.

I saw Dr Budoff for a broken wrist that did not heal correctly after two surgeries with another surgeon. He knew exactly what needed to be done to repair the wrist correctly. I had a third surgery with Dr Budofff andthree months after surgery my wrist is almost as good as before I broke it. I had several visits. Sometimes I was seen in much less than 30 minutes and others I waited close to an hour.

I was pleasantly surprised! I expected a long wait, rude staff, & uncaring doctor. But that was not the case at all! I was called in right away even though there were several other people ahead of me. Dr. Budoff wasenthusiatic, kind & very proffessional. He assessed my finger issues and took care of it right on the spot! (I was told by two previous md's that I needed surgery..) His staff was organized and very friendly. As I mentioned before I was pleasantly surprised!
