After completing an Anesthesiology residency at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, Dr. Higginbotham finished his Pain Management Fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He has a certification in Pain Management through the American Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr Higgenbotham was amazing. I have been struggling with chronic pain for quite a while and in the last few months really put an emphasis on taking care of it. The result is multiple specialties and doctor appointments and a lot of tests to figure out the roots of the pain.

Dr Higginbotham really LISTENED to my individual needs and concerns. We did a tele conference because of the COVID regulations, and that was fine. He spent a long time with me, and never made me feel rushed or pushed aside. I am so thoroughly impressed with this doctor and am fairly confident that my association with him will be in my best interest. I was able to get an appointment within a few days of my initial review of doctors on Zocdoc. Staff was very considerate and patient with my limited computer skills.
