Dr. Zapinsky graduated from a 6-year Bachelor of Science - Doctor of Medicine program at City University of New York. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Stonybrook University, State University of New York at age 23. Dr. Zapinsky has been practicing adult and pediatric urology in Las Vegas since 1987. His special interests include urologic oncology, impotence, noninvasive treatment of stone disease, incontinence treatment, and vasectomy reversal.
Dr. Zapinsky is a member of American Board of Urology since 1989 as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been a member of the Clark County Medical Society, American Society of Clinical Urologists and American Medical Association.
Dr. Zapinsky grew up in New York City and trained at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan for his urology residency. Dr. Zapinsky has been married to Desiree, a retired medical surgery Registered Nurse. Together they have raised three children in Las Vegas.

Had to get there early to complete paperwork. Overall, the wait wasn't too bad. Office staff was pleasant and efficient. Once I was taken to an exam room, the doctor showed up quickly. He asked a lot of questions and recommended 2 test. Asked if I had any questions. Scheduling the tests was done quickly with early morning times available.

The only negative thing was the wait time. I was asked to be there 30 minutes early for paper work and I was. But I was not called back to the exam room until 35 minutes past my appointment time.

Dr. Z is great! But upon arrival I was told that I did not have an appointment at 10:00 AM on 2/21/2019. They have no idea about this ZOCDOC online appointment service. I made an appointment over a month age and received two reminders from that website. How disappointing! Do NOT use it. Call the office next time. I now have to wait until 3/13 for my re-scheduled appointment.

I walked in there looking for some positive direction with the prostate cancer I have been diagnosed with along with effective treatment. I expected to have a plan to handle this problem. What I got was more confusion . Now I have to see two other doctors for second options. Mean while the cancer is growing !

This was our first office visit with Dr. Zapinksky. He was the on-call urologist at Sunrise Hospital when my husband was seen in the ED and admitted with BPH and acute urinary retention. My husband and I were very comfortable with Dr. Zapinsky. He answered our questions directly and thoroughly and offered up several options as to how to proceed in the future with this ongoing problem.
