Jennifer Clayton, WHNP, is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who has been providing care to women of all ages with Advantia since 2017.
Jennifer’s passion is patient- and family-centered, comprehensive education and care for women across the lifespan and nurturing the spirit and health of all women. Jennifer has a particular interest in holistic care, including patient education, contraceptive management, evidence-based care, and preventative medicine.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Lehigh University and working as a pharmaceutical sales representative, Jennifer realized her true passion was women’s health. After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from University of Maryland, she graduated with her Master’s of Science in Nursing with an emphasis on Women’s Health from Drexel University. Jennifer worked on Labor & Delivery at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital where she delivered care to pregnant women in our community for almost five years. Since joining Advantia, Jennifer has taken part in collaboration efforts to improve the training and examinations for new Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners through the National Certification Corporation.
Jennifer recognizes it is a true privilege to care for women as their needs are ever-changing throughout their lifespan. Jennifer lives in Rockville, MD with her husband, children, and dog.

Had forgotten purse so didn't have ID or Medicare card. Husband went to get them. Dr. took me. Staff called Husband. He gave #s then brought them to office so they could copy as usual. Everyone was understanding. They didn't make me feel like a 5 year old dropping his papers on the way home from school, although I did.
