Dr. Curtis received her M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia in 1999. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine in 2002 at the Medical College of Virginia, and her Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. She moved to Atlanta in 2010 to be closer to her family, and joined the staff at St. Joseph's in October 2013.

I visited Dr. Jennifer Curtis because my liver enzymes were elevated since a year. I would like to mention a few things about her and the office staff:
1. The wait time was ridiculously long. I had to wait almost an hour before the doctor came.
2. The nurse in her office was very rude. She looked over-worked an irritated from patients.
3. I don't have much to say about the doctor because she couldn't address my concerns. She prescribed a bunch of blood work and after that no one called me to inform about the results. So overall this visit was a waste of time and money.

Couldn't ask for a better doctor's appointment. The staff and dr Curtis were all timely, attentive, and professional. Dr Curtis and her nurse were personable and listened to all of my concerns and discussed next steps and answered all my questions. Scheduling for additional tests was fast and easy. Overall it was a smooth appointment with a knowledgeable team of professionals that I am confident to trust with my health moving forward

The wait time was way too long. I was at the office two hours total. They did not want to try to find my previous medical records, and the doctor keep repeating herself like she forgot what she had said which i find disheartening when it comes to someone treating me. The billing/scheduling staff our not here to help at all and making me do the leg work in completing this surgery i need. overall be prepared to feel like they are helping.

She was nice but they had just had a death of a dr. I get they were a bit overloaded with work because of that but that is no reason to neglect or not give enough attention to your patients. I mentioend that beer upset my stomach and she immediately started talking about eating healthier and eating less processed foods when i hadn't even mentioned what else i was eating. She fixated on me losing weight. Which i know i need to do but that wasn't why i was there. Makes me not want to go back.

Dr. Curtis was very patient and in my opinion a great doctor. First, she was very patient because I had to bring my inpatient children with me to the consultation. She performed a colonoscopy and found precancerous polyps... She contacted me as soon as results were in even though I did not get the message (on my end) until a couple weeks later. I am finishing up with lab work, and then I will be back for a follow-up. She is wonderful and I would highly recommend....
