Dr. Jennifer Deason is a Family Physician, certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr Deason did her undergraduate training at Colorado State University, where her father was a proud alumnus. She then moved across the country to attend Georgetown Medical School, where she earned her MD in 1997. She completed her Internship and Residency in Family Medicine at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO, where she was a chief resident during her final year of training.
Dr Deason moved to Jacksonville in 2003, where she has worked in Urgent Care, House Calls, and most recently private practice. In June of 2014 she joined Neurotech/PrimeMED, a practice with offices in Orange Park and in Jacksonville located on St. Johns Bluff Road. Her medical interests include women's health, geriatrics, and end of life care, preventive care, and comprehensive medical care of multiple medical problems.
Outside of medicine Dr Deason is an avid animal lover involved in rescue, enjoys music, and loves spending time on the beautiful North Florida waterways with friends.
