I am following her recommendations because they are realistic. I need to planify my meals for a week and it is the most challenging part. I put more colors in my plate and Ms. Filler was right it is healthier, more fun and I rediscover food.

I met with Dr. Filler to discuss a plan for eating healthier. I appreciated her tips - such as meal planning, and a variety of ideas about food options. She also gave me plenty of helpful literature. However, I was hoping for a bit more help on how to implement some of these changes. She seemed busy, as well, as she answered the phone twice during our meeting and there were three times when people knocked on her door to ask questions, or walked into the office to get something (from a cabinet or from her) while we were having our appointment.

She was amazing! She asked questions to get a feel for what a typical day of eating for me would be like as well as my physical activity. In the end, she made a personalized plan for me around my daily routine and my diet limitations/preferences.

It went well but I expected to go in there and be told EXACTLY what I should eat because I want to lose weight. This really wasn't what I wanted to hear but I have a follow up appointment so we shall see what else she has in store for me.
