Jennifer’s interest in nutrition began after her first basic nutrition class during her first career path for Hotel/Restaurant Management. She realized how much of an impact nutrition has in preventing chronic disease like diabetes that her own family members struggled to control. With a love for cooking and baking since a young child, she began enjoying nutritionally balanced foods to reach a healthy life while pursuing her first career. Jennifer realized her passion to serve people was more than her efforts in the hotel industry and had a desire to help others improve the quality of life through her passion for nutrition and cooking. Jennifer’s training in Medical Nutrition Therapy supports her clients with a variety of conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, acid reflux, bariatrics, digestive disorders and overall disease prevention/wellness. Her passion also includes the areas of gut health and she believes that an overly restrictive diet is not a sustainable way to live and reach your nutritional goals. Jennifer believes everyone deserves access to nutritional care and practices with a HAES-informed approach. She supports clients in making small, realistic lifestyle changes to help them achieve their nutrition goals and adopt balanced eating habits in a sustainable, enjoyable way. Recognizing that each wellness journey is unique, she tailors her guidance to fit individual needs. She holds a B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Maryland College Park and completed her Dietetic Internship at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore with a focus on diabetes care. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys surfing, biking, road trips, exploring new cultures, and cooking with family and friends. This provider is not licensed in the state of NY, TX, and CT.
