Dr. Jennifer Ivy is a compassionate, insightful midwife treating patients in Orlando, Florida, and the surrounding communities. Her primary goal as a practitioner is to give her patients with a supportive provider, a healthy pregnancy, and a happy birth experience. She spends enough time with her patients to make sure that they feel comfortable and can express all of their concerns.
In order to pursue her medical education, Dr. Ivy attended the University of Central Florida, where she completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She continued her medical education at the University of Florida, completing her master’s degree and receiving certification in nurse midwifery. Before becoming a midwife, Dr. Ivy worked at Arnold Palmer hospital, caring for high risk obstetric patients and serving on the critical care team.
Patients of Dr. Ivy can receive a full range of obstetric services. She provides vaginal delivery, episiotomy and repair, Pap smears, and insertion of IUDs and Implanon. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Ivy enjoys family time, knitting, and playing music with her friends.
