Dr. Lesko made me feel incredibly comfortable for my first gynecological appointment. She (and the medical student training with her) were both very relaxed, answered my questions, and talked me through everything throughout the appointment.

Dr. Lesko and a med student spent a good deal of time talking to me about my health and possible changes to my birth control. My last GYN would spend less than 5 minutes in the room with me, and even though all of my concerns were handled, I didn't bother to talk to him about switching my birth control for years because it always seemed like he was in a bit of a rush. It was really refreshing to have someone slow down and talk about all my options.

Dr. Jennifer Lesko is an experienced and qualified OB/GYN serving our nation's capitol. She earned her bachelor's degree at the University of Pennsylvania. After receiving her medical degree from the Weill Cornell Medical College, she completed her residency at Northwestern University’s McGaw Medical Center. She then completed a Family Planning fellowship at Harvard Medical School, where she also served as a Clinical Instructor of Obstetrics & Gynecology and earned a masters degree in Public Health.
Dr. Lesko is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and she is affiliated with The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC. She is a member of the Society of Family Planning and the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals.
Dr. Lesko enjoys and excels in caring for patients in need of miscarriage management, general obstetric care, contraception, family planning, female sterilization procedures, hysteroscopy, vaginal surgery, and treatment of ovarian cysts, cervical dysplasia, and vulvar disease.
Dr. Lesko is a strong advocate for women’s health and feels privileged to care for women and their families throughout their whole lives. Dr. Leaks was such a great find! I am new to DC and she was amazing. Answered all questions, was vey efficient, made everything super comfortable. Great location, clean office, great staff.

I love Dr. Lesko. She did an emergency c-section on me 2 years ago and saved my baby's life. Prior to that I had never met her but we thoroughly appreciated her bedside manner and her frequent visits to our room to check on us. Since then I have switched to her practice. She is wonderful!

Dr. Lesko is so incredible. She was calm and respectful during my appointment. She could tell I was nervous at some point and talked me through everything she was doing. Not to mention, the nurse and midwife I've seen in her same office were lovely too. Highly recommend!

Dr. Lesko is very outgoing, friendly, non-judgmental and very thorough. I was seen relatively quickly (maybe 5-10 minutes after I checked in), and the staff was efficient. The nurse in particular was very nice. I was going in just for an annual pelvic exam, and while Dr. Lesko worked quickly, she didn't go so fast that I wondered whether the exam would be useful to anyone. (I once had a gynecologist like that.) She also switched to a smaller speculum when she noticed I was wincing pretty badly; I didn't know that was an option, so I appreciated her just doing it without my asking (or without being told just to put up with it). Even the pap smear was less painful than usual. As for thoroughness, when she couldn't see my IUD strings, she gave me an ultrasound to make sure everything was okay (and it was), and I found it fascinating. She also answered questions I asked very candidly and fully. Maybe the best gynecologist I've seen.

It was my first gyno exam ever, and I definitely was apprehensive! However, Dr. Lesko and the staff made it a really good experience! The front desk staff was welcoming and made sure I was checked in after using the online check-in kiosk in the waiting room. I was seen pretty quickly - my wait time was maybe 10 minutes or so. The nurse who saw me was really nice and made me feel at ease. When I saw Dr. Lesko, she was friendly, open and informative. She was very caring and compassionate during the exam, as I definitely experienced some pain, but she made it as quick and painless as possible. I will definitely be seeing her again for my yearly exams.

Dr. Lesko was great. I had my nexplanon implant removed and a new one reinserted. Being so small my skin was stubborn. She was gentle and patient with me and we both were patient with my arm.
I would recommend her to anyone.
