I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My training has been in both therapy and medication management. I can offer therapy and manage any psychiatric medications you may be taking with the exception of benzodiazepines and stimulants. While I can prescribe these medications I choose not prescribe them since it is my opinion the risk outweighs the benefits. These are medications that can cause physical and mental dependence and have a potential for misuse, abuse, or addiction. I am able to assist you with alternative treatments and medication withdrawal.
