Dr. Jerry Guanciale has a passion for health and innovation. Raised in western Pennsylvania with three brothers and a sister, he graduated from Penn State University, where he then completed four years of Osteopathic medical education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Guanciale was accepted into a premier Osteopathic surgical residency program at the Grandview Hospital and Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, where he was able to complete rotations at the Cleveland Clinic in Colorectal Surgery, Grant Hospital for Trauma Surgery, and Dayton Children’s Hospital for Pediatric Surgery.
After successfully completing his residency, Dr. Guanciale found a passion for rural medicine which led him to Kentucky before settling down in Myrtle Beach, SC, where he spent the next 12 years changing lives. Always striving for growth and advancement, Dr. Guanciale completed a Fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery with the Beverly Hills Cosmetic Surgery Group. The draw of the desert then brought him to Arizona and Nevada where he continued to practice rural surgery in which he successfully integrated his General Surgery skills with his Cosmetic Surgery training.
Dr. Guanciale specializes in advanced Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Laparoscopic, Breast surgery, as well as a variety of minimally invasive and cosmetic procedures. In addition to his broad specialities, Dr. Guanciale also has a passion for Age Management Medicine.
Dr. Guanciale is board certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Surgery and was even selected as a Board Examiner for the American Board of Osteopathic Surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Guanciale loves exploring the outdoors, hunting, fishing, off-road cruising, water skiing, golfing, and traveling around the world. He currently resides in Alpharetta, GA with his wife Tina and Boykin Spaniel, Desi. Dr. Guanciale and Tina have two daughters. One resides in Portland, OR and one resides in Kauai, HI.
