Dr. Tolbert is an attentive and informative doctor that took his time to listen to my symptoms and experience.
I was honestly very unfamiliar with thyroid issues and endocrinology itself and he very kindly and clearly explained the issue I was experiencing in a easy to understand way that made sense.
I really appreciate his taking his time with me and kindness. Great doctor, highly recommend!

I would not recommend Tolbert, because of my experience with him/his office in two different instances when I needed speedy response:
1. I was running out of a prescription in advance of an upcoming appointment with him. I called his medical staff 3 separate times to ask them to work with the Dr to submit prescriptions for me, and they were very incompetent.
2. The second time I needed a prescription, the medical staff were very responsive, but could not get the doctor to write a prescription, even after checking in with him 3 times in 3 days.
This, to me, is simply unacceptable behavior from a doctor. These needs are non-negotiable and time-sensitive.

This was my first time seeing Dr Tolbert but he was a very kind and knowledgeable man who was able to see me quickly and efficiently. The whole office (reception and nurses included) was all very pleasant and I thoroughly enjoyed my appointment. I don’t think I’ve ever said that after 7 years of seeing endocrinologists...I will be back in 5 months for my next appointment, thank you for making everything so easy and stress free!

I’ve been waiting a week for him to call me back and explain my test results. I called and left a message and find it alarming there’s no urgency to respond especially with test results that are not within normal ranges
