Her journey in nursing began as a second career, transitioning from education, which is a testament to her lifelong commitment to public service and routinely helping others. Jessica advanced up the nursing ladder from LPN to RN, to BSN, and ultimately completed her MSN and PMHNP at Walden University.
Most of Jessica’s career has been spent working in inpatient psychiatric settings, where she has cared for individuals during some of the most acute phases of their mental health struggles. Her extensive hands-on experience has given her a deep understanding of the challenges her patients face, finding fulfillment in being part of their recovery and support systems. Jessica is committed to listening, supporting, and working alongside her patients to help them achieve their mental health goals. She prioritizes comfort, trust, and open communication, ensuring that every patient feels heard and valued. For Jessica, mental health care is a partnership, and she is honored to work beside her patients on their journey to stability and wellness. Jessica strives to help people with low socioeconomic and underserved status that are most vulnerable and need the most assistance in attaining behavioral and mental health services as well as the LGBTQ+ community.
