Dr. Jessica Curti was born in Reno, NV and grew up in a small town in the Sierras on her family’s cattle ranch. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Saint Mary’s College and then completed medical school at the University of California, Davis. She then completed her residency in family medicine at Sutter Health in Sacramento, CA and ultimately returned to her hometown of Reno to practice medicine.
Dr. Curti cannot remember a time when she didn’t want to be a doctor. While helping out on the ranch growing up, she was always fascinated by science and health. She is also part of a very large, close-knit family. This is what led her to finding her passion in family medicine. As a fourth-generation native Nevadan, she is now grateful to serve the community that she loves as a physician. She practices with an integrative approach to primary care that focuses on lifestyle, prevention, and treatment, always encouraging patients to take an active role in their own healthcare.
Dr. Curti and her husband are happily settled in Reno to raise their daughter as a proud Nevadan. When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Curti loves spending time with her family in the Sierras, hiking, boating, and enjoying the quiet outdoors. She also enjoys traveling, especially to natural history museums and old historical sites.
