Dr. Jessica Marino is an approachable family physician and primary care doctor. She currently works with Stamford Health Medical Group in Stamford, CT.
Dr. Marino obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester and her medical degree from the St. George's University School of Medicine. She then completed a residency in family medicine at Columbia University, Stamford Hospital, where she was appointed chief resident. She has an additional master's degree in biological sciences from the State University of New York. Dr. Marino is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and has co-authored several articles published in leading medical journals.

It was a very unfriendly experience. I did the appointment two months ago , it was confirmed by email and suddenly at my arrival I was communicated that due administrative reasons, I was rejected by Dr Jessica Marino
And recommended to make a new appointment and the waiting list would be between3 and 6 months
The reasons to see the Dr is based on my thyrod condition since need to test it and sooner I will be running short of medication
It's worth to mention that I was the only patient at the office

Dr. Marino exudes the confidence of someone who knows what she's doing. The problem is that she doesn't. I went to see her to get some testing done and when the results came back she told me there was nothing to worry about. I was a bit suspicious so I crossed referenced some of the numbers on the NIH website and found that my results were way beyond what was deemed healthy.
So I went to get a second opinion from another doctor with my test results. He became worried when he saw my test results and put me on a treatment plan right away.
Long story short, I wouldn't trust this doctor. I'm actually surprised at the number of positive reviews here - I feel her google reviews are much closer to what you can expect from this doctor.

Never been so mistreated. Front desk lady with black long hair got frustrated that my surname was different than the name at Zocdoc, didn’t want to let me see the doctor even tho I had 3 different form of id. Her colleague said that probably I got married or something but she still would not let me pass. Extremely arrogant and rolled her eyes when I asked her to repeat question. Got annoyed once realize I’m an immigrant. Had to call supervisor to finally check me in. Same front desk receptionist left her chair to come out and raise her voice questioning that she needed to put in the system the info the had asked me to fill out (I got there before my app at 11. This was 11:26 already) more people in waiting room watching the whole thing
Doctor made a very rushed visit, I could not ask what I needed, in the end supervisor /manager came to my room and said that she was rude but she is new at her job.

Dr. Marino is an excellent physician. Paid attention to both health problems of my husband. Prescribed medications and gave us a plan for future treatment. She also gives refills on time, replays to emails in 24h. I am very satisfied that she is our family physician.

My visit with Dr. Marino was extremely efficient! Her bedside manner was excellent; she was warm, personable, and attuned to my thoughts and concerns. As a plus-size patient, my experience with doctors making *everything* (including things that don't need to be) about my weight is often negative and anxiety-provoking, but my experience with Dr. Marino was anything but. She offered me tips and guidance in a healthy, non-pushy way and didn't linger on the topic longer than we had to, which was extremely comforting.
The office staff is also very kind, and the team was very efficient with paperwork and timing!

I've had very unhappy experiences with physicians my whole life. I moved from NY to CT and was concerned the same would happen again. I'm so happy that luck has turned around. Doctor Marino was very kind and knowledgeable. I truly felt that she paid attention to me and took interest in my needs. The nurse was also very kind and friendly. I enjoyed my conversation with the doctor and nurse. The office staff were welcoming and accommodating. I'm so happy to finally find a doctor i trust and want to see regularly. Really looking forward to my next visit!
