Sadly Dr. Raj passed away in April after a struggle with cancer. Jersey City misses his incredible bedside manner and concern for his patients. The last two reviews were clearly done right at the time of his death and should be removed.

Dr. Jey was cool but he always has these other doctors that ask you a ton of questions before he actually comes in. They're all very nice but it does add some time on to your visit.

Visit with the doctor was great. However - the wait time was too long. Waited over an hour just to see the doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Jey for the last 2 years, ever since I moved to downtown Jersey City. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a very realistic and honest physician.

Dr. Raj is a great doctor and I completely trust what he says. His office however leaves much to be desired. The wait time is extremely long and frankly waiting an hour for my appointment is just rude. A couple months ago I needed a sonogram, which they apparently perform at the office. I waited there for 2 and a half hours and I still don't know why I decided to wait that long. In my opinion it is worth the wait though as he is very good. Bring a book.

Raj is a great doctor. He is knowledgeable and made sure I had all of my questions answered before I left. The only complaint I have is that his front-end is sometimes not the greatest, but to me it's worth it to go to a good doctor.

Dr. Zaha is very nice and professional and I would reccomend her for sure. However, the receptionist was very short with customers and was rude in general. I ended up getting a call the day before to push my appointment back an hour, only to wait an extra 90 minutes to see the doctor past my scheduled appt.
Regardless I do like Dr. Zaha and I just hope for a better experience next time!

Dr. Rajesekaran (who goes by Dr. Jey) is very friendly and professional. I would recommend him except for his office staff. I was asked to arrive at 1:45 for a 2:00 appointment. I did so, but the doctor himself did not arrive until 2:30. I waited until after 3:00 until I saw him. The receptionist clearly does not have respect for patients' time and severely overbooks. Asking me to arrive early in the middle of a workday adds insult to injury.
I was also a bit taken aback that the doctor suggested that we bill my sick visit as an annual physical.

Dr. Raj is the real deal. He is not only very proficient, he truly cares about his patients and makes a real connection with people. He does not hurry through the process and gives you real one-on-one attention that is not hurried and is genuine.
