Ji Yeoun Yoo is a concerned and mindful neurologist caring for the New York, NY community. Dr. Ji Yeoun (Jenna) Yoo received her medical degree from Ewha Womans University in Seoul, South Korea. She received her neurology residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, followed by a two-year fellowship in epilepsy/EEG at the comprehensive epilepsy center at Yale University.
Dr. Yoo is board certified in epilepsy by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Yoo welcomes patients who speak Korean and English. Her awareness of these different languages makes her accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Dr. Yoo specializes in Epilepsy/EEG. She monitors and interprets EEGs for the patients in the epilepsy monitoring units, intensive care units, and in ambulatory settings. She is passionate in the care of patients with epilepsy/seizure disorder including those with medically refractory epilepsy.
Dr. Yoo believes in listening to each patient and creating a partnership to maintain and improve lifelong health. She is deeply committed to the well-being of her patients. She takes a thorough and precise approach to her consultations to ensure that she is consistently giving accurate diagnoses.
