and a National Board Certified Herbalist. She earned
her MD degree from Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1982 and a Master degree in
Acupuncture from Shanghai University of
Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)in 1988. She then worked as an attending physician at Shanghai Longhua Hospital for six years. In 1994 Dr.Guo jointed a clinical research group in The Renal Division of University of Pennsylvania. She worked there as a research specialist till 2001. Afterwards, she worked at The Anesthesia Department of Hospital of University of Pennsylvania for three years.
With her over 25 years of clinical and research experience in Acupuncture, Dr. Jia Guo believes that a natural approach to healthcare is the best way to help people to regain their health and it is also the best way to help people to protect their health.
