Dr. Bert has been absolutely wonderful to me. I have had problems for the last twenty years and she has already improved my vision with more comfort than I have ever had, but is still trying to get it better. I would recommend her to anyone

Dr. Jill M. Bert completed her undergraduate work at Purdue University in West Lafayette. She also spent time abroad working on her pre-doctoral studies at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Dr. Bert attained her Optometry Doctorate with clinical honors from the Illinois College of Optometry. Her experience includes interning at the William Chappell Jr. Veterans Outpatient Clinic in Daytona Beach, Florida where she focused on treatment and management of ocular disease as well as pre and post-operative surgical care. She also received extensive training in low vision and visual rehabilitation at the Spectrios Institute in Wheaton, Illinois. Dr. Bert takes a special interest in pediatric eye care and participates in the Infant See program providing eye exams at no cost to infants under one ear of age.
Dr. Bert volunteers as a member of the Junior League, Lions Club, and Rotary Club and is an active member of her church. She has been to Honduras and Mexico with Volunteers in Optometric Service for Humanity to provide eye and vision care to villages that do not have access to health care. She loves to travel and is an avid golfer, soccer and tennis player.
Dr. Bert takes a holistic approach to eye and health care by not only correcting vision, but assessing patients’ visual fitness and how it integrates into their activities of daily life. She specializes in ocular disease, pediatrics, low vision, and corneal disease including the fitting of specialty contact lenses.

Fron the time i walked in till i left they keeped me informed and helped me with everything from the exam to picking out my glasses.

Dr. Bert is absolutely wonderful! My daughter's eye exam was by far one of the best and thorough ones to date. Dr. Bert is a natural with patients of all ages and answers all questions in a kind and informative manner. The rest of the staff was just as friendly as Dr. Bert, too. We will definitely be switching our family over to her.
