The service at Dr. Shen's office was very professional and friendly. The wait time was not too bad; I arrived around 2:30 for a 2:45 appointment and I was taken back right around 3:00. I would not hesitate to go back to Dr. Shen and I would recommend her without reservations.

Dr. Shen was born and grew up in Shanghai, China. She moved to Texas in 1992 with her family. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with high honors in biochemistry and molecular biology. She then attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas where she graduated with AOA honors.
In June 2007, Dr. Shen completed her residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Upon completing her residency program, she was invited to join the faculty of the Department of Otolaryngology at UTMB.
She joins Houston ENT in 2009. She is board certified by American Board of Otolaryngology. She is interested in all aspects of adult and pediatric Otolaryngology.

My first visit was highly satisfying. The wait was a tad long but the competency, ambience, professionalism and, courtesy by her and the entire staff more than offset the slight wait. I unreservedly recommend her w/out exceptions.

I made the appointment via Zocdoc for the sake of saving paperwork time when I get to the doctor office. But neither Zocdoc nor the doctor office let me know that the paperwork wasn't sent or received. So I had to use 20 mins to fill out the paperwork in the doctor office using their very awful pad.

I have relied on Dr. Shen before, and as on those visits, she was a great help in treating me and educating me about my hearing issues. I especially like that she listens to and responds directly to my concerns and that after I had a hearing test, Dr. Shen reviewed the results with me as well as the person who administered the test.
