Dr. Jiyong Jennifer Kwon graduated from Gov. Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights, then went onto University of California at Berkeley. Upon receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science, she attended State University of New York College of Optometry where she obtained her Doctorate degree and a Residency in Low Vision Rehabilitation. Dr. Kwon was the recipent of the Dr. Feinbloom Memorial Award for Excellence in Low Vision and has practiced in several low vision clinics including the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital.
With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Kwon’s area of interests include Myopia Control, Dry Eye Therapy and Ocular Aesthetics. She believes in a holistic approach to eye health with a focus on nutrition and prevention through lifestyle choices. She is passionate about preventing early onset myopia in children and spends a lot of time educating her patients.
Dr. Kwon lives in Summit with her family and a dog named Rio. She is thrilled to join Madison Eyes so close to her home! In her spare time, Dr. Kwon enjoys cooking, traveling and thrifting for old treasures.
