Jo Zasloff is a Certified Nurse Midwife with degrees from the University of Michigan and Columbia University. Jo is a long-time reproductive rights and health activist. She started her career working as a certified nurse midwife at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan and then went on to work at a private practice in Brooklyn where she provided full scope ObGyn services to women and teens. Before becoming a nurse midwife, Jo worked as a sexual health advocate for sex workers in the Mission District of San Francisco. She also spent time learning and training with midwives and herbalists in Ghana and India.
