She is amazing. I have low back pain and everyone says "stop running, you are too old", although I have mentioned how much I enjoy it and how much it helps my mental state. When I mentioned the running, she said "we need to get you back to that", so refreshing. I feel so much better physically after just one visit. She actually listens to you.

She was very sweet. Asked lots of good questions and explained how some of them were related and what we were going to do to treat them. Even though I am very scared of needles she made me feel very comfortable and talked me through everything.
2 of the needles on one hand accidentally got left in, but she apologized and double checked other areas.
The massage at the end felt great and even though some areas were still very right you could tell there was some improvement.
I am going back next week to continue treatment

I first came to Joanne in November of 2013 with unbearable shoulder pain that radiated down my arm. Immediately on the phone even before my arrival, she empathized with my pain and was already asking questions to prepare for my visit. Because she had gone through a similar struggle with her shoulder, I felt like she was able to understand me completely.
I like needles about as much as the next guy (terrified of them), but Joanne is so talented and intuitive that you can tell her needle placement is precisely perfect in regards to fixing your ailment- if anything, the insertion of the needles is instant relief rather than a painful experience!
I'd seen several doctors about my pain, and no one had any answers or solutions for me. Within a few sessions with Joanne, I had made miraculous improvements. The lack of pain has also been a major reliever of stress/tension and I overall feel like a healthier and more balanced being. Not only do her treatments relate to your specific problem, but I always leave just feeling refreshed in general. Once she even did a specific treatment to treat a bad cold I had. I felt better the next day. She also gives me great tips on stretching and exercises to keep me from holding tension in my jaw or shoulders.
Maybe the best thing about Joanne is her warmth and connection to her clients. Every time I see her, she makes me feel like I am her only client and her greatest mission is to relieve my pain. Each session always concludes with a massage, and she really tailors this to what your body requires. I have really enjoyed getting to know her and I always look forward to my next appointment. Even though my shoulder pain is gone, I still return occasionally for a tune-up.
She is, simply, the best at what she does because she empathizes with clients and truly listens to their needs. I cannot recommend her highly enough!!
