Afterwards she went to medical school at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Upon receiving her Medical Degree in 1985, she remained there for her three year Residency, which she completed in 1988. She has continually practiced medicine since then, taking care of patients 18 years and older. Her greatest interest lies in preventative medicine, as she hopes to age gracefully with her patients.
