Originally from Ohio, Dr. Bartlett attended Cal Poly, Pomona, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He then went back to the Midwest to attend medical school in Chicago before finally returning to California to complete his medical training at UCI Medical Center in Orange County and settle into practice. He has been affiliated with Orange Coast Memorial for over 20 years.
“I developed an interest in medicine after my father had a heart attack at age 43. I became an Emergency Medical Technician, and worked while completing my undergraduate degree. I love being a physician and I get the most satisfaction when I can work together with my patients to achieve a good outcome.”
Among his other interests, Dr. Bartlett has served on various Peer and Medical Quality Review committees and held the position of Chief of the Department of Internal Medicine at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center for four years.
When not in the office, Dr. Bartlett enjoys traveling, listening to music, playing volleyball, motorcycling and skiing.

I just became a patient of Dr Bartlett this year, and I really like him, he is easy to talk to and he listens to what your saying. He is not alway on his computer like some Drs. I go to. He is friendly and can joke with him and feel comfortable with him.

This was my first visit with Dr. Bartlett and he was very attentive and concerned about our discussion. He even got me to get my blood taken and a flu shot in the same day. I have already recommended him to two friends and my husband. I have found my new MD! Great visit!

My initial contact was with Robin the RN and she was amazing. Then Dr Bartlett came in and spent more time with me than any other physician I have seen outside of the Memorial Care system. I wss very satisfied.

This was my first time seein Dr. Bartlett. I made an appointment with him for a follow up to an out of state appendectomy and I liked that he was thorough in adding more information on my medical history that wasn't already there. He was very caring and listened to all of my concerns and even suggested another follow up. The nursing staff were very cheerful as well and I felt very comfortable my entire visit.
