John Jarin was born and raised in the Philippines and studied at the Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas in Manila where he has a Bachelor’s in Biology and a Degree of Doctor of Medicine.
He pursued his medical career in the United States by receiving his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing at Florida International University. He is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in Adult and Gerontology and Certified by the American Board of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM) as an HIV specialist.
He is currently a lead provider for the HIV Test and Treat program at Care Resource in Miami-Dade. Jarin has a passion for community service and displays it through both patient education and patient advocacy.
