John Elchinger, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University in 2017 and earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Adrian College.
Dr. Elchinger remembers his own experience of being near-sighted his entire life. He recalls getting his first pair of glasses in kindergarten, then being fitted for his first pair of contact lenses in 5th grade. He always enjoyed visits to his optometrist’s office because his doctor was able to help him see more clearly.
Dr. Elchinger knew from a young age that he wanted to become an optometrist, and he worked diligently towards that goal. He truly values the opportunity he has each day to help his own patients experience better vision in their everyday lives.
