Attended an initial visit for blood tests prior to a physical.
1) Had to wait 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Okay, par for the course.
2) Nurses had to stick my arms three times to find a vein. Okay, my veins are hard to find. Had trouble before, though not this much.
3) The small waiting room has a big TV running Fox News. On asking if this could be changed or turned off, I was told No, even when I was the only one waiting. I don't care what a doctor's politics are, but to force your patients to sit through 20-30 minutes of fake news indoctrination is unacceptable. Also, whatever your politics might be, being forced to watch that much news before an appointment is bound to raise your stress level and maybe your blood pressure. I have to wonder if the doctor has thought this out.
I cancelled my follow up visit.

Two nurses could not take my blood. Was poked 4 times with needle.
They suggested quest for me to go to. Once given the slip, my name was spelt wrong after which I gave them my license !?? Really unsure.

I called to say I was going to be late and they accommodated me without any issues. Very friendly and courteous staff. Dr. Meyer did a very thorough routine annual physical exam and offered several options for treating some concerns. He focused on the most important one involving a heart issue and he quickly arranged for some diagnostic exams that I had put off. One test was even scheduled the next day (Saturday)! My wife is a new patient of Dr. Meyers and she spoke very highly of him. After my first visit with him, I understand her enthusiasm with his practice.

I was seen by Dr Eric and he is thorough and will listen and talk to you not at you and he listens to what you tell him not just brush off what you say to him. I love that office and will remain coming to it as long as I can. The office staff is very nice and pleasant even when they have 100 things going at one time. I am glad I found this office.

Dr. Meyer was fantastic! He was extremely friendly and easy to talk to and appears very knowledgeable. He asked a lot of questions about me and my health history. I am fortunate that I do not have a lot of issues at this point, but the few things I wanted addressed he addressed right away. I needed to have some tests scheduled and those were all taken care of before I left. He is able to perform several tests right in his office and that too was fantastic. It was like 'one-stop shopping' and I could not have been happier with his office, staff or level of care he provided. It was very easy to make an appointment and get in pretty much right away. He came recommended to me by a complete stranger and after my visit today, I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who's looking for an internist in this area.
