Dr. Overholt completed his undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College and earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He then completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Virginia and his fellowship in allergy, immunology and pulmonary medicine at Vanderbilt University. Since 2001, Dr. Overholt has been providing specialized allergic and asthmatic care to patients in Middle Tennessee.
Dr. Overholt is board certified in internal medicine and allergy and immunology. He is also a member of the Nashville Academy of Medicine, the Tennessee Medical Association and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and is a past President of the Tennessee Society of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
