The staff was quick, attentive and I was out in and out in a half hour. Dr. was knowledgeable about my current and historical condition when he walked in-- asked relevant questions and went over directions for treatment making sure I knew what to do and when. I did not feel rushed and he made sure to answer all my questions.

Dr. Pahira was incredibly informative and patient in explaining the procedure and the future treatment options and worked with me on the timing of both. Everyone was so professional and courteous. I was referred to Dr. Pahira from my nephrologist. It was obvious he looked over all the information sent to him before meeting with me. He explained everything well and I felt that I would receive good care.

Efficient office both during the appointment and at the follow-up, Dr. Pahira and his resident listened carefully to my symptoms and made some helpful suggestions. They helped me arrange for further testing as well.

Unfortunately he couldn't help me, but he gave me good advice. I was disappointed as I would have liked to proceed with him, even though getting to his office in D.C. And returning to my home in VA required many agonizing hours sitting in traffic.

Dr. Pahira is excellent. He makes you feel very comfortable, explains everything clearly and thoroughly. You can tell he cares about the patients he treats. I have no reservation about highly recommending him to anyone who needs a urologist. I also highly recommend Georgetown Hospital. When I need a specialist, it is the first place I turn to.
