Dr. Schilero operated on my foot 9 yrs ago - zero problems. I returned to him today for an unrelated issue. I was feeling tremendously better when I left. He's an excellent doctor, as are all the physicians at PBOI.

Dr. Schilero has done wonders for my feet! I had been living with pain from Hallux rigidus in my right toe for many years until I met him. With his treatment, I have managed to avoid surgery and I am even back to running! He is a top doc!

I drive all the way from Stuart because of this group's awesomeness. Dr Schilero was very professional, just as Dr Simovitch and Dr Kearse that I've seen previously. I never get the feeling that they're just trying to make as muchas they can off of me like I have with some other doctors. Highly recommend!!

The quality of the procedure that was provided was satisfactory. However, from the moment Dr. Schilero left the room, the level of care was completely unacceptable. My toe was quite sensitive from the incision and removal of the entire nail.I was not offered any pain relief (but fortunately had Tylenol in my purse). The staff suggested I remove the insole from my shoe in order to have something covering my foot to get to my car. No temporary bootie, etc. was made available. As it was raining, I was expected to walk to my vehicle with nothing to protect the wound. The staff curtly responded to my request with “sorry, we don’t have anything”. Finally, a front office attendant emptied her own Publix grocery bag so I could wrap my foot up to get to my car and not risk infection.

He was knowledgeable, professional and quickly reached a recommendation based on an in-house x-ray he ordered. He explained my options without my having to question him; he predicted the outcome possibilities; he proposed a phased (conservative)approach to remedy my medical issue. Then he described the rehab/recovery period so I was fully informed to make my decision. He elicits confidence, friendliness and competence, what could be better. I will definitely recommend him to other friends.

Appreciated his review of the history of the problem. He did not jump to conclusions simply based upon symptoms but followed the progression of the problem over many months including my interaction with another physician. He presented an action plan with clear steps if things don't get better.

I think he is very caring and explains exactly what is going on with you. He is easy to talk to and tells you what you need to know to heal. The wait time is too long in the office, buthe gives you the time you need once you get to see him.

This Practice is extremely organizedand efficient. Minimal wait time. Everyone is kind. The only thing I think they might want to look into is....when you're in pain, and the door to the gym is open, it's kind of annoying to hearthe trainer yelling instrucuctions to the people in the class! A few people around me were commenting on it too. Other that that, this is an awesome practice, with outstanding doctors, and staff!

I think that Dr Schilero did a great job. I went there and didn't expect to need a procedure but I told him my fear of pain and he assured me that he wouldn't hurt me and he didn't. The procedurewas completed without any discomfort and he was done before I even realized that he started. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

I was surprised that I didn't have to wait as long as I thought I would have to wait. Staff was courteous and prompt even though it as a busy Monday morning. Dr. Schilero as kind, patient, professional, assessed the issueright away. I appreciate that he provided a conservative approach rather than a recommendation to have surgery.
