More about Dr. John Solan, DC
Dr. John Solan is a native of the Red Bank area. He found Chiropractic in 1981 while playing football for Middletown High School South. Dr. Solan had been having migraine headaches for several years and was referred to a Chiropractor by his MD.
Dr. Solan is a graduate of Life University in Marietta Georgia, class of 2000.
It is our passion and our goal at Health In Hand Chiropractic Center to provide our practice members with the highest level of care available.
Dr. Solan has a background working with athletes. Having worked with professional athletes from the NFL, NHL and MLB Dr. Solan understands the special needs, injuries common to sports, and puts an emphasis on injury prevention.
Since 2008 Dr. Solan has been volunteering his Chiropractic services at the local Navy base in an effort to help returning service members and veterans alike. Dr. Solan has had the honor and humbling privilege to see patients at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland while doing rounds with the staff Chiropractors there. He is also the team Chiropractor/Doctor for his old rugby team, Monmouth Rugby Club.
Here at Health In Hand Chiropractic we use the most successful techniques in the profession. Full Spine Technique and Thompson Drop Technique have, over the decades, returned the greatest results in terms of speed of relief and long term success. We also utilize some Applied Kinesiology to assess upper and lower extremity integrity.
25 years ago the founder of Health In Hand Chiropractic began a Chiropractic Philosophy Conference called "New Beginnings Chiropractic Philosophy Weekend". To this day it continues, stronger than ever, three times a year. It is the largest Chiropractic gathering of it's type on the east coast and is a big part of our practice.

The doctors & office staff are outstanding. You are greeted with a smile. The doctors take their time and tell you what is happening, and what he will be doing. The treatment is working. A great place to going for back trouble.

Dr Solan has treated me for eight years. He is an outstanding doctor. His skill his professionalism, his encouragement when I'm feeling really -yes- terrible because of my back problems is so heartening! I have recommended Dr. Solan to friends and they have found him to be the excellent doctor that I've told them he is. There aren't enough wonderful words of thanks that I could ever give to Dr. Solan for all the care and help he has given me.
