I came in to ask about birth control. I was told to complete a form to check with my insurance if it would be covered. I completed the form within a few days of my visit and was told I would be notified once a response was received (4-6 weeks). I followed up via email (no response) and phone call (the coordinator was never available and never responded to any of my voicemails or messages). The doctor himself was good but the office coordinator was terrible.

the doctor was great, had an excellent bedside manner; staff was a little green, though, and asked if I was a new patient, when I have been going there for years. Also, I prefilled the ZocDoc forms, but the same questions were asked when I arrived, which makes me wonder what the link is between ZocDoc and the office.

He was polite but VERY pushy with birth control options. I do not believe in flooding your system with synthetic hormones every month and calling that 'safe' NOR putting an IUD that basically does the same function. I did express that I am happy with my own natural method of birth control and he kept harping on the IUD thing. I felt like I was in the middle of a sales pitch with a used car salesman. I won't be returning.

Dr. Wirth was very nice and thorough in explaining things to me. Made me feel comfortable at all times. The nurse who took my measurements (blood pressure, etc.) was unfriendly and just kept staring at me; she was also very hard to understand. Everyone else at the office was super friendly.

Very knowledgeable - some may find he can be patronizing given all he knows on the subject matter and somewhat dismissive of their concerns; but it really is that he's so well versed on all issues and tries to calm your nerves or anxieties with the science behind it. I appreciate someone who can be very thorough, answer all of my questions and edifying me in general given that I put research into my health and options as well. It lends itself to good discourse and selecting the best plan of action for me.
