Dr. Johnathan Chappell is a caring dermatologist serving patients in Acworth, GA. He is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the Georgia Medical Board, a fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery, and he is a member of a number of professional associations, including the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Chappell earned his bachelor’s in biology at Morehouse College in Atlanta. He received his medical degree at the Morehouse School of Medicine. He completed an internship at the University of South Alabama before training in dermatology at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Chappell also finished a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at the Northwestern Skin Cancer Institute in Chicago.
Dr. Chappell spends much of his time helping to diagnose and treat skin cancer. He also performs Mohs surgery, skin biopsies, wart freezing, cyst removal, and a number of other services.
